Art is just literature without rules. It’s like taking the alphabet, putting it in order, and then realizing that there’s no reason the alphabet needs to be in any particular order. Art is the abstract, the obvious, and the unnecessary. So why did I choose art? Well, for starters photography is a special kind of art. In paint and sketch, realism is a suggestion. In photography, what’s real is what’s photograph-able. If it can be seen, it can be photographed. With that in mind, photography is about finding beauty in what already exists. I choose photography because it lets me appreciate snapshots of the world around me.
